About the document

Income certificate translation for UW, bank and visa

01

What does the office check on this certificate?

Amount, period, full name, employer, issue date.

UW and banks look at solvency. An employment book does not replace this — it has no salary amounts.

02

Freshness of the form

Often “not older than 1–3 months”.

Translation does not extend validity. Get a current certificate from work first — then translate for the filing date.

03

Currency and net/gross

We carry them as in the original.

We do not convert to PLN ourselves. If the form notes «netto/brutto» — we keep it.

04

Several employers / sole trader

Each certificate — a separate translation (or one pack).

Send all forms at once — we align terminology and name transliteration.

05

Vs bank statement

Certificate = official amount from the employer; statement = account movements.

If UW asks for a bank statement — that is `/tlumaczenie-wyciagu-bankowego`.

06

Apostille

Rare for UW in Poland.

UK/USA visas sometimes ask. We check against the list.

I sent a photo in the evening, had a PDF by morning, and the paper copy in Wrocław two days later. Urząd Wojewódzki accepted it without questions.

ОТOlena T.Wrocław · residence card

They asked to match the name spelling to the passport — I would not have thought of it. That is why the pack was accepted first time.

АКAndrii K.Kraków · nostrification

The amount quoted on Telegram did not change. Good when there are no “extra pages” at the end.
