Civil registry documents:
birth, marriage and death certificates — Soviet (Armenian SSR) and modern (Republic of Armenia)
Official sworn translation from Armenian in Poland. Armenian alphabet (Aybuben), documents for voivode office, business visa and apostille. Ministry of Justice stamp, 24–48 hours.

Armenian uses a unique script — the Aybuben (Armenian alphabet), created in the 5th century. Polish authorities cannot independently verify the text of an Armenian document. This is why a sworn translator of Armenian language is especially important — the official stamp from the Polish Ministry of Justice certifies the accuracy and completeness of the translation.
The Armenian alphabet (Aybuben) is a fully independent writing system of 38 characters, with no relation to Latin, Cyrillic or Greek. Polish institutions (voivode office, Urząd ds. Cudzoziemców, ZUS, civil registry) cannot independently identify the text of an Armenian document. A sworn translator with Ministry of Justice accreditation acts as a guarantor of accuracy. At LEGIX we work with Armenian documents from all eras.
Armenian nationals applying for a residence permit in Poland must translate: passports, birth, marriage and divorce certificates, and educational documents. A sworn translation with an official stamp is mandatory for the voivode office.

Poland is a popular destination for Armenian entrepreneurs. Setting up a spółka z o.o. or registering as self-employed (JDG) requires Armenian documents to be translated: passport, criminal record certificate, educational documents for professional licences.
A criminal record certificate from Armenia requires an apostille from the Armenian Ministry of Justice before submission in Poland. We translate such documents that already carry an apostille.
To open a bank account in a Polish bank for an Armenian company, translations of the company charter, extract from the Armenian company register and financial documents are required.
Many Armenians living in Poland have Soviet-era documents (1920–1991): Armenian SSR civil registry certificates, Soviet passports, work record books. These were issued in Russian or Armenian with a Russian translation.
Soviet Armenian documents generally do not require an apostille. We know the current practice and prepare documents correctly.
For ZUS when applying for a pension based on work periods in the Armenian SSR, translations of the work record book and salary certificates are required.
