Civil documents:
出生证明 (birth certificate), 结婚证 (marriage certificate) — after legalisation
Official sworn translation from Chinese in Poland. China is not in the Hague Convention — consular legalisation via Polish Embassy in Beijing or Shanghai. Ministry of Justice stamp, 24–48 hours.

China is Poland's largest trading partner and a significant source of students and specialists. The key feature of Chinese documents: the PRC is not a party to the Hague Convention on apostilles. Official use in Poland requires consular legalisation through the Polish Embassy in Beijing or Shanghai. Sworn translation is performed only after legalisation is complete.
The procedure for official Chinese documents in Poland: 1) Notarial certification in China (公证处) 2) Legalisation at the Chinese MFA (外交部领事司) 3) Legalisation at the Polish Embassy in Beijing or Consulate in Shanghai 4) Sworn translation at LEGIX. We perform step 4 and advise on steps 1–3.
Students from China: diploma and academic transcript with legalisation and sworn translation — for enrolment at Polish universities or nostrification through NAWA. Civil documents for a visa and first residence permit also require legalisation.
出生证明 (birth certificate), 结婚证 (marriage certificate) — after legalisation
毕业证书 (diploma), 成绩单 (transcript) — for NAWA and Polish universities
营业执照, 章程, 公证书 — after legalisation, for banks and KRS
passports, employment/study certificates — without legalisation
公证书 — with legalisation for notarial transactions
Simplified vs. traditional Chinese: official PRC documents use simplified (简体字). Taiwan uses traditional (繁體字). Hong Kong uses both. We work with all variants.
Chinese bachelor's and master's diplomas can be nostrified in Poland. NAWA conducts individual assessments of the curriculum and institutional accreditation. Leading Chinese universities (Peking University, Tsinghua, Fudan, Tongji) are well known in Polish academic circles.
Important: the diploma and academic transcript must undergo consular legalisation before translation. NAWA does not accept unlegalised Chinese documents.
Medical diplomas for professional registration in Poland — we translate with full understanding of Chinese medical terminology.
Business licence (营业执照) — the primary corporate document of a Chinese company. After legalisation and sworn translation, it is accepted by Polish banks and partners.
Chinese notarial power of attorney (公证书) — for property transactions, inheritance and corporate operations in Poland. Consular legalisation through the Polish Embassy is mandatory.
Articles of association (章程), registry extracts, financial documents — for registration in the Polish KRS or bank account opening.
