Sworn Translator of French Language in Poland

French citizens and expats from French companies are increasingly settling in Poland. France is a member of the Hague Convention — apostille is issued by MEAE or regional prefectures. Our sworn translator works daily with both personal documents and corporate documentation of French companies.

French MEAE apostille and translation for Polish authorities

France is a party to the Hague Convention on apostille. Civil documents (actes d'état civil) are apostilled through prefectures or MEAE. After the apostille — sworn translation. French apostilles are recognised by Polish authorities without additional verification. Note: some French documents have been issued in EU multilingual format since 2019 — but not all Polish offices accept it without translation. We clarify each authority's requirements before starting work.

French documents for Polish authorities and employers

Residence permit: passport, extrait d'acte de naissance, extrait d'acte de mariage — all with MEAE apostille and sworn translation.

Civil documents:

extrait d'acte de naissance, extrait d'acte de mariage, acte de décès — with MEAE apostille

Educational documents:

diplôme, relevé de notes, attestation de réussite — for NAWA

Corporate documents:

KBIS, statuts, procès-verbal — for banks and KRS

Employment documents:

For Polish employers and ZUS: employment contracts (CDI, CDD), bulletins de salaire, attestations Pôle emploi — translated with full understanding of French labour terminology.

Nostrification of French diplomas through NAWA

French degrees (Licence, Master 1/2, Doctorat) are well known to NAWA — the nostrification procedure is relatively standard. A sworn translation of the diploma and relevé de notes is required. MEAE apostille on the diploma is mandatory.

Professional certificates (BTS, DUT, BEP) for Polish employers are translated without nostrification — a sworn translation is sufficient.

Medical degrees (Docteur en médecine, Chirurgien-dentiste, Pharmacien) for professional registration in Poland — we translate with full understanding of French medical nomenclature.

Corporate documents of French companies

KBIS is the key document of a French company for Polish banks. It is the official extract from the Registre du Commerce et des Sociétés (RCS). We translate including the APE code, SIRET and legal form.

Statuts de société, procurations, comptes annuels of French SA, SAS, SARL — for registration in the Polish KRS or account opening.

Contrats commerciaux (commercial contracts) — for Polish counterparties, lawyers and courts.
