What is a sworn translator?
A sworn translator (Polish: tłumacz przysięgły) is a specialist officially authorised by the state to produce certified translations of documents. These translations carry full legal force and are accepted by all government agencies, courts, embassies and official institutions.
In Poland, sworn translators are registered with the Ministry of Justice and are entitled to certify translations with an official seal, making documents valid for any official purpose.
